We hold off a strong Texas Tech bunch as Micah Owings wins 9-3.

Texas Tech just blew out Mississippi State 14-7 in the nightcap.

We face the Red Raiders tomorrow at 1. They'll have to beat us twice but certainly have an offense that can do it.

They took us for a ride in a mid-week series down in Lubbock during the first 10 games of our season. If we can get past Georgia, it will be revenge time for whoever wins the Atlanta Regional. But the pups come first.

My 'Pack lost two games today, we are done. A most bizarre year in that at times we played well, other times we looked like the worst team in the conference. I am very concerned about next year since we will probably lose our two best pitchers, and we dang well better come up with some better hitting.

Here in Raleigh, the coundown to Sept 4 has begun. 91 days I think...everyone have a safe and fun summer, see y'all in the fall! Good luck to all the remaining Acc temas.

UVA lost to Princeton, but they beat George Mason. They play

Princeton tomorrow and then the winner has to beat Vandy twice. Remember they are behind because of rain Friday night. FSU is in the drivers seat. They play the winner of CFU-Ok. State tomorrow and have to be beaten twice.
